Grimm Connect: Akazugin no Shou

Mahiru Mikado, whose sister suffers from an illness with no cure, comes across a vivid red book in the library of the juvenile detention center where he is held. Opening it on a whim, he finds not the familiar Little Red Riding Hood but a story drenched in tragedy. The next moment he is standing in a blank white space facing a mysterious girl who invites him to begin what she insists is his own story. From there a warped cycle of madness takes hold: a deranged fairy tale where any failure means death and the loop simply starts over. There are no stated conditions for winning, the difficulty is at its harshest, and no allies appear. The girl cheerfully urges him onward even as she tells him to go and die, leaving the question of what waits at the story's end.
