Celia, a skilled leader of holy knights, is assigned by a priestess to care for a young nine-tailed fox. Though uncertain, she agrees and attempts to nurture the creature, who has suffered mistreatment at the hands of humans. She earns his partial trust and gives him the name Rahn. Their relationship develops, though Rahn frequently tries to run away. Celia must determine if she can successfully raise him to adulthood or if Rahn will outwit her.
