Gundam: G no Reconguista

The Universal Century gives way to a new era known as the Regild Century, marked by peace and prosperity. In R.C. 1014, the Capital Tower, an orbital elevator, serves as a vital link between Earth and space, supplying energy through Photon Batteries and gaining near-religious reverence. Bellri Zenam, a cadet in the Capital Guard, is involved in a training exercise when he is confronted by the G-Self, a powerful mobile suit piloted by Aida Rayhunton, a young space pirate. Bellri captures the G-Self using a Recten maintenance mobile suit. He is unsettled by the G-Self's pilot and the unfamiliar nature of the machine. The G-Self's response to Bellri as a pilot, Aida's objective to attack the Capital Tower, and Bellri's role as a chosen pilot all hint at a deeper truth that will challenge the Regild Century. This marks the beginning of the Reconguista.
