A 15-year-old girl named Anti Kythera struggles to use magic despite her efforts to learn. She undergoes a Skill Bestowal ceremony, hoping to discover her talent. Instead of conventional magic, she receives Gearcraft, a unique ability to create and control golden gears. As a daughter of a restaurant owner with aspirations of adventuring, she must figure out how to use this unusual power. She also seeks to understand a tiara-shaped artifact known as the Crown Gear. Her journey involves learning to harness her newfound skill and working toward becoming as accomplished as her role model, Purple Lightning.
