Heart Trigger Off

Jae-Yeong has been able to see male ghosts since childhood and grew up reading boys' love manga in their company, a habit that horrified his father once it came to light. To break the boy of his sensitivity the family moved away and put him through repeated shamanistic rites until the spirits finally vanished, leaving Jae-Yeong drained, withdrawn and emotionally hollowed out by the long ordeal. Years later he returns to his old neighborhood and is met by Do-Ha, the once-meek younger boy from next door, who has grown into a tall and far less timid figure. The reunion quickly turns unsettling as Do-Ha begins steadily encroaching on Jae-Yeong's routine and reviving memories the older boy had worked hard to bury. The story belongs to the eleventh entry of the Sachungi: Neoreul Saenggakaneun Bom collection.
