Heishi to Buriki-ya

A whitesmith in a small village creates artificial metal bodies for soldiers, enabling them to survive. One of these soldiers, a young woman, has received multiple artificial body parts from the whitesmith. With each replacement, she seems to lose something essential, becoming less human over time. The whitesmith, too, appears to be affected by the process. As they navigate a world that is both cruel and strangely beautiful, the question remains whether they can retain their humanity and continue living.
