There is no uglier feeling than inferiority. A grandmother longed for a daughter her entire life but was left with neither a daughter nor a granddaughter. Her grandson, Ho Su-Won, now runs a ballet academy built largely on her name. When the family gathers at her funeral to carve up the estate, they come face to face with the true legacy she left behind, the last daughter shaped by a woman who swore never to pass on her own sense of inferiority. That inferiority has not died; it has simply taken a new form and begun all over again.
