Ako Roki, a girl hoping for a typical high school experience, accidentally touches a tangerine at a shrine and is transported four years into the future. Stripped of the opportunity to live a normal high school life with her friends, she becomes disheartened. At her new school, she encounters further strange events connected to time and oranges. The story takes place in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, and follows three high school girls dealing with these unusual circumstances in a bittersweet science fiction narrative.
