Ako Roki is a girl who longs for a typical high school experience, but she accidentally touches a tangerine at a shrine and is suddenly transported four years into the future. Deprived of the chance to live a normal high school life with her friends, she becomes disheartened. At her new school, she encounters more strange events related to time and oranges. The story takes place in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, and follows three high school girls as they cope with these unusual circumstances in a bittersweet science fiction narrative.
