Hyakujuu no Ou ga Himo da nante Kiitenai!

Humans share their world with animacodes, a species that combines human and animal traits. Ryusei works at a facility devoted to caring for them and has long held lions in particularly high regard, drawn to the image of them as dignified and imposing creatures. That image takes a hit the moment he is assigned to look after Raul, a lion animacode whose default state seems to be doing as little as possible. Reluctantly, and with plenty of exasperation, Ryusei keeps tending to his charge while trying to guard his own heart against the situation. What follows is a cute yet sensual romantic comedy in which a perpetually slothful lion and a relentlessly considerate human end up tangled in an unexpected interspecies dynamic, complete with the discovery that lions come with surprises Ryusei had not anticipated.
