A regular civilian named Howoo experiences a chaotic day when a massive monster attacks his city. Hoping for a swift end, he is unexpectedly rescued by the famous esper Yool. Soon after, Yool moves in next door, making Howoo feel as if he's in a romantic comedy. Yool not only knows his name but also displays an unusual level of friendliness toward him, despite Howoo being just one of many people he has saved. Howoo notices a strange tingling feeling whenever their hands come into contact.
