A boy named Ukyo saves a stray dog, whom he names Kuro. The dog has the unusual ability to speak and later transforms into a human. In this form, Kuro licks Ukyo in different places, leaving him unsure how to respond. The manga includes additional short stories titled Goldfish Princess, Summer's Here Again, and Pinpoint Lovers.
