LOVELESS

A sixth grader named Aoyagi Ritsuka struggles with memory loss and a split personality. His mother frequently criticizes and sometimes physically harms him, demanding the return of the "real" Ritsuka. His older brother, Seimei, who was his only support, has recently died. Following Seimei's death, a man named Soubi appears, claiming to have been assigned by Seimei to protect Ritsuka. Soubi reveals that Ritsuka's true name is "Loveless." Ritsuka is drawn into a strange underground society where groups known as "Fighter Units" and "Sacrifices" engage in battles using poetic spells. He seeks to understand his identity and uncover the truth behind his brother's death.
