Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

Harumi Kazuhito finds the greatest joy in reading. One evening, while immersed in a book at a café, a robbery occurs, and despite not being a heroic person, he attempts to intervene and ends up dying. He awakens as a dog under the care of Natsuno Kirihime, a café patron from that night. Kirihime can somehow hear Kazuhito's thoughts in his canine form. She has a sadistic nature and a particular interest in scissors.
