A girl living a quiet life in a village becomes entangled in the fallout of a conspiracy involving the kingdom of Sigurd. She closely resembles the ailing Prince Edvard of Tyr, whose death from poisoning leaves the realm vulnerable to invasion. With the kingdom in crisis, she is forced to assume the prince’s identity and command his loyal knights to protect the country.
