Kami no Fune de Nemuru

A celebrated screenwriter, known for his impactful work in postwar Japan, decides to stop writing after noticing a pattern of tragic fates among the people who inspire his characters. He becomes despondent and withdraws from life until he encounters a man in dire straits, who rescues him from the street. The man's pure and captivating nature stirs in him a strong desire to write again. Despite his resolve not to involve him in his work, the screenwriter faces the challenge of resisting this growing temptation.
