A designer in the planning division, Takemura, is known for being distant and absorbed in work. His co-worker, Masaki Natsui, continues to engage with him despite his unapproachable attitude. During a chance encounter at a convenience store with Masaki and his adopted son, Mori, Takemura becomes involved in a new, informal family-like situation with the two.
