Kekkon no na no Moto ni

Briony starts a new job as a secretary for Carlyle, a well-known workaholic company president. After completing a pressing task, a young girl named Emma enters the office—Carlyle's daughter. Briony is surprised by the shift in his demeanor; the usually stern man becomes warm and affectionate. Briony accompanies them on a trip to an amusement park, where Emma suddenly falls ill. Carlyle reveals that Emma has a heart condition and is expected to live only a few more months. He then asks Briony to marry him so that she can be Emma's mother and fulfill the girl's final wish.
