Kemono no Gochisou, Hijoushoku

A young herbivore named Hakka is captured in a trap and left helpless until a carnivore named Daiya rescues him. Daiya takes Hakka in, initially planning to keep him as a food source in case of emergencies. Over time, a bond forms between them, and they come to see each other as family. A decade later, both have grown into adults. Although Daiya still considers Hakka part of his family, he begins to understand that Hakka no longer shares the same feelings.
