In the Cosmic Era 75, two years after the end of the Destiny Plan, conflict between Naturals and Coordinators persists. Independence movements have begun on Earth, and Blue Cosmos invasions are intensifying. A new global peace organization, COMPASS, has been formed, led by PLANT Chairwoman Lacus Clyne. Kira Yamato and others join COMPASS, engaging in battles to promote peace. As these conflicts continue, a new nation called FOUNDATION emerges and suggests a joint operation to attack Blue Cosmos' headquarters. The question remains whether fate will unfold as expected or if Kira can still defy overwhelming challenges.
