Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senkou no Hathaway

Hathaway Noa, burdened by past actions and the lingering presence of the deceased Newtype Quess Paraya, joins the terrorist group Mafty under the alias Mafty Navue Erin. Mafty launches a campaign against the Earth Federation government, seeking to undermine its growing authority. The group eventually obtains the powerful prototype Ξ Gundam, which Hathaway pilots. He uses it to target a gathering of top Federation officials in Adelaide, Australia, aiming to prevent a legislative measure that would further expand the Federation's powers. The narrative draws from Yoshiyuki Tomino's novelized version of Char's Counterattack, differing from the animated adaptation. These differences position the story as a semi-canonical entry within the Universal Century timeline rather than an official canon work.
