A boy who is reincarnated into another world is rejected in his village, believed to be possessed by a demon. Carrying only an axe given to him when he leaves, he travels to Niergen, a city where adventurers fight monsters. Lacking experience and talent, he chooses the difficult path of an adventurer to survive and earn money.
