Arata, an employee at a bento shop, was concerned when a regular customer named Shun suddenly stopped coming. While saving a dog from drowning at a river, Arata finds himself in the afterlife. He spends time at a hotel, waiting for permission to enter heaven, and unexpectedly meets Shun there.
