Kimi wa Nazotoki no Ma Cherie

Hoshino Mitsuko is a resolute woman in the 1930s, pursuing a career in detective work at a time when few women are employed outside the home. Facing societal disapproval and gender bias, she remains committed to her profession. After being approached by Yoshida Saku, a waiter who offers her a case, Mitsuko accepts and collaborates with him to solve it. Recognizing his competence and inquisitiveness, she hires Saku as her assistant. The two work together on various cases amid the challenges of the Showa era.
