Kusuriya no Hitorigoto

A young woman skilled in herbal medicine is compelled to serve in the palace as a servant. She desires a life beyond the palace's confines but finds herself involved in palace affairs after using her knowledge to address an illness affecting the imperial heirs. Her actions draw the interest of a eunuch named Jinshi, leading to a new role as a food taster. However, Jinshi has different intentions for her, and she soon returns to preparing remedies while also becoming involved in solving enigmas.
