A hidden device beneath Ueno's Shinobazu Pond, a massive snail attached to the Eiffel Tower, and a beautiful girl who is actually a demon lord are among the mysterious entities known as "Ends," which are accelerating the world's collapse. Most people remain unaware of the impending doom. A group of young individuals, however, have taken it upon themselves to resist this fate, though not to prevent it but to prolong it. Their goal is to make the most of their remaining time. One of them is a former cartel slave with ESPer abilities, seeking a meaningful school life despite a difficult past.
