Kodo no Kishi no Moto

During the early 17th century in China, widespread famine has led to unrest under the Ming dynasty. Rebel forces emerge, commanded by General Chuang. Qi-Xiu, an ally of Chuang, is assigned to convince his brother, Li Dai-Zhi, a pacifist who opposes Chuang's methods, to join the rebellion. Qi-Xiu is joined by Hong, a warrior who also seeks to kill Chuang. Their mission changes when they encounter Chuang, whose speeches persuade both Li and Hong to side with him.
