Kokugensou wo Item Cheat de Ikinuku

A man named Sawatari Takeru is transported to a distant village in another world and declares himself the hero. After buying an iron sword, he takes a quest to defeat a group of wild dogs but is quickly defeated. A female adventurer rescues him and suggests he work as a farmhand instead. After a week of manual labor, he discovers that Japanese writing is valued as sacred text and secures a position in the local government. He begins experimenting with modern technology, using local materials to create gunpowder, explosives, and firearms. With support from his superior, he develops weapons for mining and defense. He later starts a business producing goods like soap and crepes, employing female workers. As monster threats grow, he trains a volunteer force from laborers and slaves to combat them, despite the kingdom's nobles dismissing his methods.
