Kore ga Mahoutsukai no Kirifuda

A swordsman named Rix, weary of war, pretends to die in battle and leaves his violent past behind. He joins a magic school despite lacking any magical ability. Using only his sword skills, he surpasses the sorcerers and disrupts the usual expectations at the institute. His abilities attract the attention of the Empress. However, Rix insists he has no interest in becoming the strongest. His goal is simply to live a quiet and content life.
