Kouhan no Tsubame

In 1920 Shanghai, during a period of political uncertainty, a student named Shion is approached by a woman named Shuliang, who is married to a soldier. She requests that he help her write a letter, and their interactions lead to a growing connection despite occasional disagreements. As they spend time together, their relationship deepens, but the unpredictable nature of the era and the uncertainty of the future create obstacles between them. The pressures of their circumstances and the changing times ultimately strain their bond, making it difficult to sustain their feelings.
