Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

During an era of industrial advancement, a creature emerges that can only be killed by piercing the iron-protected heart. Its bites transform humans into aggressive, undead Kabane. On the remote Hinomoto island, people reside in fortified stations, connected by a steam-powered locomotive named Hayajiro. Ikoma, a resident of Aragane station involved in maintaining Hayajiro, crafts a weapon called Tsuranukizutsu to combat the Kabane. While waiting to use it, he encounters Mumei, a girl exempt from the routine Kabane checks. Later that night, Ikoma sees Hayajiro behaving erratically, as its crew has transformed into Kabane. The station is now under attack, offering Ikoma the chance to deploy his weapon.
