Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

During a global industrial revolution, a monstrous threat emerges, capable of creating undead Kabane by biting humans. These creatures can only be killed by piercing their iron-protected hearts. On the eastern island of Hinomoto, people live in stations for protection, connected by a steam-powered locomotive named Hayajiro. Ikoma, a youth from Aragane station involved in maintaining Hayajiro, crafts a weapon called Tsuranukizutsu to fight the Kabane. While waiting to use it, he encounters Mumei, a girl exempt from the Kabane inspection. Later, Ikoma sees Hayajiro out of control as its crew has transformed into Kabane. The station is attacked, giving Ikoma the chance to use his weapon.
