Leo-chan

A young lion destined to become emperor of the African jungle is placed in the care of a Japanese boy named Kenichi. While living among humans, the cub experiences various lessons and frequently finds himself in minor scrapes. The arrival of a rat, delivered by a stork in a manner reminiscent of a newborn, brings word from Leo’s homeland. This message signals that it is time for him to return to the jungle. As he prepares for what will be his most significant journey, he does not yet know the major conflicts that await him.
