Jungle Taitei

A white lion named Panja, known as the "Emperor of the Jungle," is killed by a hunter in an African jungle near the equator. His mate, the Queen of the Jungle, is captured and taken aboard a ship to a zoo. During the journey, she gives birth to their son, whom she names Leo. Before dying in a shipwreck caused by a storm, she urges Leo to return to Africa and follow in his father’s footsteps. Instead, Leo ends up on a beach in a port city on the Arabian Peninsula, marking the start of his journey.
