A man finds himself trapped within the virtual world of his long-running online game, inhabiting the role of the Demon Lord character he created. Stranded in a harsh fantasy setting, he teams up with a lone child to navigate the dangers of his own design. He must deal with hostility from the game's protagonists and confront the ultimate antagonist of his world.
