MÄR

A 14-year-old boy struggles with poor eyesight, academic difficulties, lack of athletic ability, and short stature. He repeatedly dreams of a fantasy world where he is a powerful hero with the qualities he lacks in reality. One day, a supernatural being appears at his school and transports him to a magical realm where he gains strength, agility, and clear vision without glasses. His goal is to find magical artifacts called "ÄRMS," one of which might return him to his original world. He is joined by a companion named Jack and a sentient, mustachioed iron-ball weapon named Babbo, which others desire but only he can wield.
