Meiji Haikana Yoshoku Ojou-sama

During the Meiji era, Hanashiro Saori, a viscount's daughter skilled in kendo and judo, attended a cooking demonstration by Kusabayashi Kanji, the owner of the popular western-style restaurant "Jiyuuken," known for its affordable yet tasty food. After being deeply impressed by his cooking, Saori visited the restaurant with the goal of opening one of her own where people would smile from the joy of good food. Although Kusabayashi rarely accepted apprentices, he was swayed by Saori's enthusiasm, determination, and her ability to replicate dishes by taste alone, and agreed to train her. Her rigorous training began, but her classmate Saionji Misa, a noblewoman, disapproved of Saori's choice to pursue such a path.
