Meiou no Zakuro

As a child, Seiji descended into a dark, eerie well to retrieve a lost ball and took a strange pomegranate. Since then, he has narrowly avoided numerous life-threatening incidents that alienate those around him, except for Haru, his best friend. Their high school bus is involved in a crash that kills all passengers except Seiji. This tragedy brings renewed attention to childhood rumors about the well being connected to the underworld. Seiji embarks on a journey to save Haru and his own life, uncovering the truth behind the well and its connection to these events.
