Mimoza no Kokuhaku

Sakuma lives in a dull suburb with few distractions beyond his friendship with Ushio, who is cheerful, accomplished, and admired by others. Their bond weakens over time due to past experiences and feelings of inadequacy, leaving them distant by high school. Sakuma becomes lonely until he connects with Natsuki, a kind classmate with similar interests in literature. Their friendship quickly turns into affection. However, one evening while passing through a park, he witnesses Ushio crying intensely while wearing a schoolgirl uniform.
