Mona Lisa no Heya

In the snowy forests of Sweden, Vincent Minnelli, a doctor, mistakes a person for a deer while hunting. The girl he shoots at, named Joanna, remains unharmed and tells him a startling story before vanishing the next day. Later, Vincent is invited to Castle Scorchloster by General Ambrose du Closter, who is interested in his research. At the castle, Vincent meets the general’s daughter, Mona Lisa, who resembles Joanna. Vincent believes they are the same person, but Mona Lisa denies knowing him. Others at the castle confirm she has always been there and no one knows a Joanna. Mona Lisa resents her governess, Miss Corban, and is devoted to her ailing mother, Camilla, who does not recognize her and harbors hostility. The castle’s residents are caught in tangled emotions, and Mona Lisa becomes the center of a dramatic and disturbing love-hate conflict.
