Chimera Hunter Number 17 has spent many years eliminating monsters. During a final mission, he is told to guarantee the safety of other human hunters and not return, effectively sentencing him to death. As his body begins to disintegrate, memories of his past resurface—being taken as a child, forced into constant combat, and turned into a weapon. Unexpectedly, his body regenerates in human form. No longer known as Chimera Hunter Number 17, he becomes Do-un Cheon, a human determined to build a new life.
