Nanami Maesaka is in her fourth year of university and chasing the dream of becoming an architect, currently fixated on placing first at the Sendai Design League, a national competition aimed at identifying the country's top student designer. Surrounded by a circle of reliable juniors at her workplace, she hopes to put together a project capable of pushing her career forward and earning recognition in the field. The atelier-style firm where she works runs on long hours, modest pay and a strict performance hierarchy, conditions that test her resolve as much as her talent. Against that backdrop the manga follows a group of aspiring young architects refusing to let the brutal economics of the profession close off their ambitions, presenting an earnest coming-of-age tale shaped around blueprints, deadlines and the slow craft of building a future.
