Anastasia is the sole person barred from Edenhurst, a place otherwise regarded as an earthly paradise. Resigned to a fate she believes cannot be altered, she is simply waiting out the remainder of her life when a stranger arrives and upends everything, destroying her faith in the god she has worshipped and rattling the paradise itself. Treated as property by one man and pursued by another who intends to strip her of all she has, she finds herself bound to a relationship born out of destruction.
