Corruption persists across time and governance, a constant reality. Within government-run businesses, bribery and abuse of power by politicians and officials continue to grow, harming the public and enriching the corrupt. A new agency, the Government Crime Investigation Agency, has been formed to address these issues where traditional law enforcement has fallen short. Its mission is to investigate and prosecute political wrongdoing. At the center of this effort is Zaizen Joutarou, an agent entrusted with leading the charge against corruption.
