Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku

Akimi lives on a quiet island in the Seto Inland Sea with her mother, who is struggling with the emotional aftermath of her husband's infidelity. She meets Kai, a new student who has recently moved to the island because his mother, known for her carefree nature, wanted a change of scenery. The two form a friendship as they navigate life in their coastal community.
