A parasitic force invades Japan, overpowering its deities. Nakua, a spider god, is the last remaining force capable of resisting. She partners with Kanda Tarou, a regular teenager who hosts Taroumaru, Nakua's spider familiar. They work to liberate Japan's gods from the parasites' influence.
