Necrolog

Son is a free writer who cherished a woman he referred to as his "elder sister," Shue, who has died. Fu, a seemingly young and capable yet shrewd Taoist priest, brings Shue back to life as a zombie bodyguard. To learn how to fully resurrect Shue, Son agrees to become Fu's apprentice and assists with various demanding tasks. He encounters multiple priests and practitioners of necromancy and travels to distant places. Many of the stories involve Chinese necromancy and folklore, which likely explains the title.
