During a lunchtime conversation, Akito casually expresses a wish to go out with a cute childhood friend. Unbeknownst to him, Natsumi, one of the people present, is his actual childhood friend who had moved away during his childhood. After hearing his comment, Natsumi begins showing interest in Akito but hesitates to fully express her feelings, fearing it might damage their friendship. The story explores her internal struggle as she navigates the transition from friendship to something more.
