Oudou no Inu

Shusuke Kano is a prisoner in Hokkaido during the Meiji era, sentenced for protesting the government in favor of freedom and democracy. While working under harsh conditions, he meets Kazama, another inmate, and the two devise a plan to escape. After their successful breakout, each pursues an independent course.
