A young executioner known as Monsieur de Paris, named Edward, awakens in what he believes to be hell. Strange creatures move around him as he encounters a man from his past. Ninomiya Ai, known from *Are you Alice?*, and a newcomer named Nao Ikuhiro become involved, leading to a tale centered on puzzles and themes of rebirth.
